David M Taylor - far more


	David M. Taylor is a producer, engineer and recording artist and Far More is his debut solo album. Although it is certainly not a solo effort. David worked with musicians and singers from London, Zurich, Rio and even drove to Wroclaw in Poland to record a 21-piece string orchestra for four songs.
'Far More' is unusual for a debut album in its tuneful maturity and quality. David has managed to create a unique and individual style around his distinctive clear voice. The undercurrents of the rhythm section reflect his African upbringing, the harmonies his classical and British background and the songs his originality. With catchy guitar riffs or vocal lines, wonderfully complemented by beautiful orchestral counter-melodies, and a flowing rhythm section, he opens a musical and emotional landscape which instantly captivates, yet still fascinates after even the most intensive listening.
	The often introspective lyrics, which sometimes include quotes from old church hymns examine the Christian faith with such honesty that even the most church-distant listener is drawn-in and riveted. A complex web of questions, answers, doubts and convictions unroll as sensual groove ballads or powerful rock-anthems, which can morph into Afro-ambient dreamscapes with seamless ease.
